The communication setup for internet has several choices for remote access service, which should I use?

If you do not use Windows Dial Up networking to access your Data Service, the Remote Access Service needs to be set to 3rd party winsock.

Typically AOL users will need to use this choice.

If you are using Dial Up networking, select the appropriate choice from the pull down list for your internet service provider.

With the exception of 3rd party winsock, the Remote Access Service allows AIQ Data Retrieval to launch your internet connection when retrieving data. If you are using 3rd party winsock, you will need to be on the internet prior to retrieving data.
